A great rush of vehicles was witnessed at the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Saturday evening, as these outlets were observing the scheduled two-day weekly gas holidays on Sunday and Monday.

Seeing the gas terminals crowded on every weekend has become a routine matter, as motorists try to get cylinders of their gas-run vehicles filled to meet their two-day activities. Long queues were witnessed outside the gas stations where motorists spent 1 to 3 hours, waiting for their turn. A motorist, Haider Ali said that he succeeded to get his car's cylinder filled after waiting for 1 and 30 minutes.

Another motorist, Imran Bukhari at a CNG located along highway, expressed dissatisfaction over the quality and pressure of gas. The government had announced the holidays, under the gas load-management plan, to ensure smooth supply of the commodity to domestic consumers and industries, during the winter season.
